I’m Clive Johnson, and I’ve been involved in the bail industry for longer than I’d like to admit. While not a profession most mothers dream about their kids being involved with, I’ve found it to be tremendously rewarding. Every day you get to work with someone who needs your help. While there are some challenges and some pretty bad days I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Aside from the day job I’m married and have three beautiful children who have been known to help me out around the office from time to time. I’m an active Rotary member and try to get out on the golf course at least once a week.
I first got interested in bail bonds when a friend of mine was falsely arrested for breaking and entering. He was a good kid, and the case never went to trial, but the judge set bail at $3,000, way more than his family could afford. A friend at church was a bondsman and helped get him out of jail. I’ll never forget the look on his mom’s face when he came home after spending two nights behind bars. After that, I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
